Who are We?

Who we are:

Elizabeth Underhill and Stacey Sproule collaboratively curate The Three Tongues, a series of pedagogical exchanges in which participants teach, are taught, and leave each exchange with three new skills.

The Three Tongues are Truth, Beauty, and Chance. Skills of Truth relate to the essentials of life, the things we all need to survive, like clothing, shelter, and food. Skills of Beauty relate to the realm of the senses, including pleasure, play and aesthetics. The third tongue is Chance - which pays heed to the unpredictability of knowledge, its creation and the inevitability of learning by accident.

The Three Tongues exchanges and blog explore sharing, preserving, creating, disseminating and enjoying knowledge, collaboration, participation, generosity, equality, empowerment and bottom up activism through involving people of all sorts to teach and learn skills together.
